GPSR Compliance Manager - Merchant Documentation

This documentation is written for Shopify merchants. It covers everything GPSR Compliance Manager does, from the first installation to bulk editing, automation and the EU legal-guarantee features.

What the App Does

Stores your GPSR compliance data on every product: manufacturer, EU responsible person, importer, CE marking, safety warnings, hazard information, instructions, traceability and your own information boxes.
Shows that data on your product pages through a storefront widget that you add in the theme editor. No code is needed.
Lets you create entities (manufacturers, responsible persons, importers) once and reuse them on as many products as you like.
Offers bulk editing, CSV import and export of entities, and automated rules that assign entities by vendor (see Plans & Features for which plan includes what).
Supports all EU languages for warnings and custom information boxes, so each shopper sees the text in their own language.
Adds the EU legal-guarantee notice and the optional GARAN durability label to your storefront, cart and order confirmation e-mail.

Entities: create your manufacturer, responsible person and importer.

Two terms you will meet everywhere

App block: a building block you add to a page in the theme editor, such as the “GPSR Compliance” block. It appears exactly where you place it.
App embed: a switch in the theme editor (Theme settings > App embeds) that adds something to all pages, such as the cart notice.

You do not need to write code for either. The Glossary explains the other terms.

Compliance Data

Dashboard: how many products have GPSR data, sync status and finishing the setup.
Entities: manufacturers, responsible persons and importers, with CSV import and export.
Product Compliance Data: the edit form for a single product.
Safety Warnings & Hazards: toy warnings and standard hazard and precaution statements.
Bulk Editing: edit many products at once.
Automated Rules: assign entities by vendor automatically.

Widget Setup: add the widget to your product page.
Customizing the Widget: choose the fields, style and colors.
Settings: EU-only visibility, watermark and editor languages.

Guarantee & GARAN

Overview: what the two features are and who needs them.
Legal Guarantee Notice: show the official notice, exclude products, add it to your order e-mail.
GARAN Labels: the optional durability label.
